YunJae - Alone

Title: Alone
Word count: 1,944 words
Pairing: Yunjae
Rating: PG
Warnings: HIGH angst
Summary: He, too, once believed in forever.
Disclaimer: DBSK do not belong to me. The lyrics to 'Alone' also do not belong to me.
Notes: Based on the lyrics of Outsider's Alone and vaguely inspired by the music video (with subs underneath the cut). Note that I DON'T believe this in anyway reflects reality, this is just my literary attempt to write about my OTP based on this gorgeous song.

For almost six years, he lived and breathed the same dream with four others, built his existence with these same four people. For almost six years, he spoke not of empty words to appease fans, but of promises he held close to his heart. For almost six years, he believed in forever.Collapse )

After my almost 6 month hiatus, I am back! I have finals next week, but after that I should have time to write more YunJae. I have so many plotbunnies in my head it's not even funny. ;_____;

DBSK - Just Because

Written for dbsk_flashfic's open challenge using the prompt reunion.

Title: Just Because
Word count: 150 words
Pairing: None
Rating: G
Concrit: Sure
Notes: None, this short drabble already explains everything I need to say.

Because it’s been a long, hard road. Because there’s already too many tears being shed. Because of ‘whys’, ‘what-ifs’, and ‘how-can-theys’. Because of secret meetings behind conference rooms that create and dissolve relationships with a signature. Because of contractual language that really means nothing. Because of four-letter acronyms that are just four-letter acronyms and yet can mean everything.

Because you can imagine his high notes intertwining with three lower voices in ‘W,’ the climax of a perfect harmony. Because with his sharp yet graceful pops and waves, he will set the stage on fire if he dances to ‘Mission Make It.’ Because you can hear three more voices – sweet, husky, and soothing - singing ‘Maximum.’ Because this still isn’t goodbye. Because of almost seven years and counting.

Because it’s too early to stop believing. Because it’s never too late to hope. Because faith doesn’t run out this easily. Just because.

I start work tomorrow, and it's a job that may require long hours, so I will be on hiatus for the time being. My interest in writing YunJae is still as strong as ever, but the past few months have been just extremely busy. I have a lot of ideas I want to write out, especially with the JYJ concert, Yunho's interiviews, etc. but I just haven't had the time to write it.

To those who read my lousy excuses for fics, both lurkers and those who comment, THANK YOU! I will try to still write, but no promises. Until then, AKTF! ♥ Never stop believing in the boys and YunJae. =)

YunJae - Wilted

Title: Wilted
Word count: 1,538 words
Pairing: Yunjae
Rating: PG
Warnings: Angst
Summary: Of forgotten seasons and faded memories. Even a flower cannot retain its beauty forever.
Disclaimer: DBSK do not belong to me. The lyrics to Forgotten Season also do not belong to me.
Notes: First time writing in this style, so feedback and concrit is greatly appreciated! I was aiming for a melancholic air and subtle angst when writing this, so please tell me if I conveyed it properly. I've thought of this idea over four months ago, but didn't think my writing was up to par then. It's still not up to par now *bricked*, but this is a fic I've wanted to write all along, and I'm actually quite pleased with the way it turned out. Though I SERIOUSLY hope this will NOT happen to YunJae in real life ;____;.

He remembers lingering gazes and touches that speak of ‘what-ifs’ and ‘why nots’ and ultimately ‘why didn’t wes.’Collapse )

ExplanationCollapse )

YunJae - Battlefield

Title: Battlefield
Word count: 1,632 words
Pairing: Yunjae
Rating: PG
Warnings: Fluffy angst/angsty fluff, mentions of the lawsuit, first time writing in first-person? I hope I didn't kill their characterizations.
Summary: Why does love have to be a battlefield?
Disclaimer: DBSK do not belong to me.
Notes: Writing is my coping mechanism to the current events. T____T

We'll go down hand-in-handCollapse )

DBSK hwaiting. YunJae hwaiting.

YunJae - Imperfect Perfection

Written for dbsk_flashfic Challenge 44: Make Sense.

Title: Imperfect Perfection
Word count: 2,131 words
Pairing: Yunjae
Rating: PG-15
Warnings: Angst, implied sex, brief mentions of the lawsuit
Summary: They were almost the image of a couple happily in love. Almost two pieces of a jigsaw puzzle fitting together. Of course, almost doesn’t count.
Disclaimer: DBSK do not belong to me.
Notes: I originally intended a sad ending, but I'm telling you - writing angsty Yunjae already feels like kicking puppies. I just can't bear to give my Kpop OTP a sad ending (at least, not this time). Finished this at 4 am in the morning, so will check later for typos. T___T

It starts out with the impulse of curiosity.Collapse )

Yunjae - Falling is Like This

A series of three drabbles/ficlets using the dbsk_flashfic Open Challenges: Gamble, Criminal, and Phobia. Can be a standalone, but probably makes more sense if you read them together. Happy Valentines' Day everyone!

Title: Falling is Like This (set of three drabbles)
Word count: 791 word total for all three parts
Pairing: Yunjae
Rating: PG
Disclaimer: DBSK do not belong to me.
Warnings: Possibly fail!abstract fic in Part III. T___T

Part I: Gamble Love
Notes: For the challenge 'gamble'
He's putting his biggest bet on the table and gambling with his heart.Collapse )

Part II: Thief of Hearts
Notes: For the challenge 'criminal'
Yunho knows the lead singer cannot be blamed for this.Collapse )

Part III: Aeroacrophobia
Notes: For the challenge 'phobia'. Names are intentionally withheld because I wanted to show that both were sharing the same feelings, though if you read the previous parts, you would know who is who. And yes, aeroacrophobia is the fear of open high places.
Some people are afraid of open places, some are afraid of heights.Collapse )

YunJae - The Language of Silence

Written for dbsk_flashfic Challenge 42: Quiet World, which is based off the poem, The Quiet World by Jeffrey McDaniel where everyone can only speak 167 words a day.

Title: The Language of Silence
Word count: 870
Pairing: Yunjae, OT5
Rating: PG
Disclaimer: DBSK do not belong to me

One would think that with the government’s new regulation, things would finally quiet down in the Dong Bang Shin Ki household. One couldn’t be more wrong.Collapse )
